COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY

GRADE 12 COURSE EVALUATION


This course is project driven and is continuation of the grade 11 Communication Program. It is design for those students that wish to pursue their post secondary school education in the Communication field. Applying the hands on approach, students will further develop their skills in computer graphics, web design, creative approach to layout and design and digital photography. Greater emphasis will be placed on computer animation, story boarding and multi-media interactivity using industry standard software. Students will also be exposed to industry standards and career opportunity’s. All students will develop a interactive portfolio for their final project.


The grade twelve communications course outcome will be evaluated using self and teacher evaluations. A rubric will be provided for each assessment.

- Use current technology and production skills to develop a process or a product.

- Use effective techniques to carry out and document the steps in pre-production, production, and post-production.

- Select and use appropriate software to manage the production process.
